From June 1, 2026, Brannvernforeningen will introduce a new payment model for Hot Work certificates. The change is due to VAT requirements on certificates. As a result, the course and certificate must be separated in both pricing and invoicing.
What does this mean?
The Hot Work course will be delivered and invoiced by us. We will continue to coordinate and submit information to Brannvernforeningen (as before).
The certificate will now be invoiced directly to the participant by Brannvernforeningen
The certificate will only be issued after the invoice has been paid
New pricing structure from June 1:
You pay us for the course and learning materials
The certificate is invoiced separately by Brannvernforeningen: Digital certificate: NOK 270 + VAT /Plastic card (optional): NOK 500 + VAT
For participants enrolling before June 1, 2026:
To have the certificate included under the current arrangement, you must:
Complete the theoretical part
Submit documentation of the fire extinguishing exercise
No later than May 26, 2026
If this is not completed by the deadline, the new payment model will apply.
