FSE Course for Instructed Personell
FSE for instructed personnel satisfies the requirements of the FSE Regulations (Regulations on safety when working in and operating electrical installations). This regulation sets requirements for the necessary training of personnel who work on and operate electrical installations. The training must be repeated annually, but also more often if conditions warrant it. There should never be more than 12 months between training. This course is for those who do not have electrical expertise, but who will be working with clearly defined tasks as instructed personnel.
Objective
The purpose of the course is to provide instructed personnel with the ability to identify risks and avoid electrical hazards. This will help to improve the safety of both you and your colleagues and ensure an injury-free workplace. Trained personnel refers to employees without an electrical background who perform operational tasks according to the company’s instructions. This also includes those who need access to electrical installations. The course also includes a module on first aid for electrical accidents and general first aid.
Everyone who will be working as instructed personnel must have a review of the relevant facilities they will be working on by qualified personnel.
