Why are Work Warning 1 and 2 so important?
Working alongside busy roads involves considerable risk – both for workers and road users. Without proper warning and protection, the consequences can be fatal. That’s why the Norwegian Public Roads Administration (NPRA) requires documented training for anyone carrying out or supervising work on roads.
Work Warning 1 is for those who carry out work on or near roads:
The course provides participants with the necessary knowledge and skills to plan and carry out safe work alarms for road and construction work. Anyone who will be working on or near a road must at least have completed this course, in line with the requirements of the Norwegian Public Roads Administration’s handbook N301.
Work Warning 2 is for the person in charge and the person who will lead the work:
This course is required by law for those who plan and are responsible for the work, and who are responsible for submitting applications to the municipality/State Road Administration. Employees responsible for work notification must have a documented course in Work Warning 2. This applies to those who are listed as responsible.

You will receive a course certificate after completing the course. We also offer the course in the evening – perfect for those who are busy during the day.
