Safety course on the use of dangerous hand tools satisfies the requirements for documented training in accordance with the Regulations on the performance of work §10-2, Regulations on organisation, management and participation, and the Internal Control Regulations. The course provides a basic introduction to the safe use of hazardous small tools such as: angle grinders, cut-off saws, bolt guns and nail guns.
Objective
The aim is to increase participants’ knowledge and make them aware of important safety measures so that injuries and accidents in the workplace can be avoided. The course provides a thorough understanding of the laws and regulations that apply to those who will use dangerous hand tools, as well as those who will lead work with such equipment. It covers the general use of different types of tools, the hazards that the tools can cause, as well as how to proceed in relation to maintenance and inspection. The course goes into detail about the different types of personal protective equipment that are mandatory and why they should be used.
