Welding Safety (HSE course)
Online course that provides documented training in health, safety and environmental requirements for welding. The course meets all regulatory requirements according to the Norwegian Labor Inspection Authority's guidelines, with a focus on workplace safety. Welding involves high temperatures and potentially hazardous chemicals. As a result, the course reviews the necessary precautions and safety measures to protect workers and others.
The course provides insight into the choice of welding methods, shielding gases and the importance of correct welding parameters such as current and feed rate. You will also learn about oxidation inhibitors and how they protect the weld from unwanted reactions. The main objective is to provide you with safe and effective practice to reduce the risk of fire and exposure to harmful gases. The course covers the Norwegian Labor Inspection Authority's regulations regarding HSE in the workplace but is not intended to replace a full welding course.
