Scaffold builder course 2-9 m
Scaffolding courses for 2-9 m are in accordance with the requirements of Section 17-3 of the Regulations on the Performance of Work. Anyone who uses, builds, dismantles or inspects scaffolding above a platform height of 2 metres must document theoretical and practical training. This online scaffolding course provides theoretical training in accordance with the requirements of the regulation (15 hours of theory).
Objective
To qualify employees to assemble, dismantle, modify and inspect scaffolding with an upper scaffolding floor up to a platform height of 9 metres. During the scaffolding course, you will be presented with the various responsibilities that can be found in connection with a scaffold. The online course will give you an insight into all relevant laws and regulations, with a particular focus on the Working Environment Act and Regulations on the performance of work. Furthermore, you will gain a basic insight into scaffolding theory. You will also receive a general introduction to the assembly of scaffolding, as well as an introduction to the assembly of the various types of scaffolding. These include; rolling scaffolding, system scaffolding, suspended scaffolding, pipe and coupling scaffolding, wooden scaffolding and trestle scaffolding. As with all our courses, you will conclude with a review of first aid and how to act in emergency situations.

Personnel who will be assembling, dismantling, modifying and inspecting scaffolding with an upper scaffolding floor up to a platform height of 9 metres.

Practical training
The employer must document sufficient practical training (15 hours) to fulfil the regulation’s requirements for practical training. The practical training must be certified by a competent person (someone who has a certificate of competence in a similar course or a previous scaffolding erection course). Documents for completion are provided in the course.

This online course can be completed whenever and wherever you want on desktop, mobile or tablet. The course is pedagogically structured in modules with film, text, images and a final test.
