This is an information course from Instant Norway about asbestos. The course is an introduction to people wanting to learn more about asbestos and the hazards connected to the material and satisfies the requirements for documented competence in the Work Environment Act paragraph 3-2. The course only gives training in identification and is not an asbestos abatement course.
The course teaches you about asbestos, about the history and dangers connected to the material, where we find asbestos and how to identify products containing asbestos. You learn about the laws and regulations that apply to asbestos, as well as the requirements for both employee and employer. The course provides you with the required knowledge related to the dangers with asbestos, to avoid both accidents and dangers asbestos entail.
Goal setting
The purpose is to strengthen the general knowledge of asbestos for both professionals and private individuals. The course teaches you about asbestos, the history and dangers associated with the material, where we find asbestos and how to identify asbestos-containing products. You learn about the laws and regulations that apply to asbestos, as well as the requirements placed on both employee and employer.
