The course provides a thorough understanding of the safety measures needed for cleaning work Depending on the type of cleaning work and the cleaning agents and chemicals used, different safety measures may be required. This course ensures that all employees are well-prepared to handle their tasks safely and effectively.
The purpose:
This course aims to give participants a thorough understanding of the safety measures required for cleaning work. You will learn about the potential risks involved, how to establish a safe working environment, and how to protect yourself and others. The methods used in cleaning also affect the degree of health risk. The health risks of chemicals depend on their hazardous properties and the amount and duration of exposure. Therefore, cleaners, laundry staff and others who handle cleaning chemicals must have the necessary knowledge to safeguard their own and others’ health and safety.

Course topics:
Part 1 provides an introduction to cleaning work and chemistry, including correct working methods. Part 2 deals with current regulations and HSE. Part 3 covers preventive measures, including the use of safety data sheets, understanding health hazards, correct use of protective equipment, proper storage of products and the importance of good hygiene, and part 4 covers emergency situations and first aid protocols.
