What is the difference between the NS 9610 course and a standard fall protection course (documented)?
Documented fall protection training is a legal requirement for anyone who will use fall protection equipment at work. The training must be tailored to the work you will actually be doing, and the employer is responsible for ensuring you receive the training and can document it. This is the minimum requirement in the regulations.
NS 9610 is a voluntary Norwegian standard that describes how the training should be conducted—with clear requirements for content, quality, duration, and practical training. This is an industry standard that ensures the quality of the training.
