Our online course provides documented training in health, safety and environmental requirements for the use of respirators to protect yourself and others from hazardous airborne substances in the work environment. The course is designed in accordance with the Norwegian Labor Inspection Authority's guidelines, as well as Norwegian and European regulations, to provide safe handling and use of the respirator.
You will learn how to choose the right equipment, use it correctly, maintain and store it, and carry out tightness testing for correct fit. Incorrect use or poor maintenance can reduce protection, so the course provides you with the necessary knowledge for safe use and risk minimization.

Course topics
The first part provides an overview of the hazards and health risks you may be exposed to in the workplace. The second part provides an introduction to respiratory protection, where you learn about the selection, maintenance, use, cleaning and storage of the equipment to ensure effective protection. The third section focuses on tightness testing, which is necessary to ensure that the respirator provides the right fit and protection. The fourth section covers the current regulations and legal requirements related to the use of respiratory protection in the workplace.
